Xbox 360: More Noise, Less Size or More Size, Less Noise?
Bradley Wint | Jun 25 2008

Lian Li Industrial Corporation have come up with a new casing system that should help cool down temperatures and reduce the noise your XBox 360 ‘beast’ makes. If you are a hardcore gamer and hate the noise and heat, you may be interested in this device. The Lian-Li PC-XB01 case mod is basically a larger unit consisting of a 120mm fan, optional water cooling system and very thick pieces of foam which help to muffle the lovely disc drive noises. However this comes at a small price. The system is about 4 times the size of the Xbox 360 system. With that said, the big question is: Size or Quietness and Cooler temperatures? If you really don’t care about the space it takes up, this would be the right system for you.

However, if you live in a very small apartment and need as much space as possible, it’s best you stick with the noise and heat. Maybe you could buy a household fan instead, to help dissipate heat. The product will be on sale in August 2008. You can also check out more details at the company’s web site here.
